OUR VISION

The Walnut Creek Church of Christ has served Walnut Creek and the East Bay for more than 60 years. We cherish our past and anticipate a better future. We want to be a church that is actively opening doors to ourselves and our community for the message of Jesus. In fact, something we like to keep in the front of our minds is:

"Responding to God, each other, and our community."

WHAT WE DO

This is a goal we want to do better each and every day with the strength and guidance from the Holy Spirit; Jesus did this in the most complete way and we look to Him as our Lord, savior, model, and friend. Whether it is in worship, small groups, Bible class, at home, or at our job, we are striving to respond to God, each other, and our community. Come join us each day in walking the way Jesus walked.

OUR COMMUNITY

We serve our community in the name of Jesus Christ and we care about you and your loved ones. Our desire as a church is to offer any assistance we can toward your spiritual and personal growth. The Walnut Creek Church of Christ family is made up of people saved by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus. We cling to our Savior as grateful people whose lives have been turned from selfishness to service by a single act that occurred centuries ago.

OUR MINISTRY

Dave Altizer

Senior Minister

David has degrees from Abilene Christian University and Pepperdine University.

Dave and his wife, Alice, have two boys – Joseph and Jackson. Prior to joining Walnut Creek Church of Christ, Dave was on staff at churches in Seattle and Tacoma.
